About SOUGEIKAN

Since the year 2000, in the land of Nara,
We have been creating Floating Art.

The Floating Factory known as SOUGEIKAN specializes in the production of this unique art form. Located amidst the natural beauty adjacent to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Nara’s Cultural Assets and Heijo Palace Remains, SOUGEIKAN has gained international recognition for its “Floating Art” sculptures made from a special resin derived from artificial muscles. These captivating underwater sculptures have been exhibited in art museums, aquariums, and commercial establishments worldwide.
